Thank You for 4 More Years

I’m humbled, honored, and excited to have been elected to a third term as your Franklin County Commissioner, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your confidence in my leadership, and the work of my office.

I pledge to you that my staff and I will continue, every day, to hold fast to the goals and truths that we hold most dear: that economic development, good jobs, and workforce readiness, coupled with a strong safety net, a solid foundation for our youth, and a high quality of life for all residents were the cornerstones on which the County was built, and on which it continues to grow.

I strongly believe that obtaining and maintaining a good job with fair pay and benefits is the best way to escape and prevent poverty, and that all residents of Franklin County should have the opportunity to work and earn a living wage on which to support themselves and their families. My team and I are committed to advancing policies that encourage and incentivize economic development which lead to not only job creation and retention, but to filling those jobs with Franklin County residents, including those who have faced barriers of poverty, long-term unemployment or underemployment, incarceration, homelessness, and violence.

Franklin County is strong because our residents are resilient. Franklin County is a leader because our residents always look forward, not back.

Thank you again for your confidence. Together we will continue to make Franklin County a place where everyone – each and every person – lives in an economically sustainable and safe community, and where social justice for all prevails.

Here’s to four more years together!
